SSS 2008 Poster Presentations

Goals and Scope: The Poster Presentations are short presentations of new ideas or work in progress that can address any issue relevant to stabilization, safety and security of distributed systems.  The poster session covers the same interest areas as the Technical track of SSS 2008 (http://sss08.cse.msu.edu) except that submissions may report preliminary results.

Contributions are particularly solicited from academics and industrial practitioners that may not have been able to prepare full papers due to time and work pressures, but nevertheless seek an opportunity to engage with the SSS community.

Submission guidelines

A Poster submission should be at most two pages in length, single-column pages on letter-size paper using at least 11-point font and appropriate margins. The paper must be submitted as a .PDF file to Poster Co-chairs, aebnenas@mtu.edu and siona@utdallas.edu, by the deadline of September 30, 2008. Authors are strongly encouraged to submit early, as the number of slots is limited. Submission of a contribution to the track indicates agreement to have one author present the work, if accepted, at the conference.

Submission deadline: September 30, 2008

Notification of acceptance: October 10, 2008

Camera ready deadline: October 20, 2008
