Getting to Paderborn from outside Germany
Paderborn has a small airport (Paderborn Lippstadt Airport) with regular flights to and from the Munich International Airport, which can be reached from many international locations. If flights to Paderborn are too expensive, alternative options are to fly to the Düsseldorf Airport or the Hannover Airport because there are direct trains to Paderborn from both of these airports. Also the Frankfurt International Airport offers reasonable (but no direct) train connections to Paderborn.
Travel time by train:
- to/from Düsseldorf Airport: approx. 2 hours
- to/from Hannover Airport: approx. 2 hours
- to/from Frankfurt Airport: approx. 3.5 hours

From inside Germany it is recommended to use the train. Tickets can be purchased online at www.bahn.de.
Getting from Paderborn Lippstadt Airport to the Paderborn Main Railway Station
Every hour between 5 am and 8 pm there is an express bus from the Paderborn Lippstadt Airport to the Paderborn Main Railway Station. Information about the departure times can be found at the bus stop in front of the airport. A faster option is to use a taxi, which costs approx. 30 Euros.
Getting from the Paderborn Main Railway Station to the conference hotel
Buslines 2, 7, 8, 12 and 68 regularly go from the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) to the bus stop "Am Bogen" (which is at the corner of "Kasseler Straße" and "Am Busdorf" in the map shown at the venue webpage). The bus stop for these buses is on the same side of the street as the main railway station, to the right of it (to the left are taxis and bus stops for non-local destinations).
